Journey is an excellent marker, a strong water dog, and she loves everything about retrieving. She is enthusiastic, intelligent, and extremely responsive. Journey earned her Senior Hunter title swiftly, at just over 2 years of age. Journey also earned her AKC Junior Hunter title in 4 for 4 straight tests at 1 year of age. Journey is very tractable, smart, and runs as hard on her blinds as she does on her marks. She is fast and stylish, with a wonderful happy-go-lucky disposition.

Journey went hunting in North Dakota last winter, and had a great trip! She retrieved numerous roosters and geese and had a blast. Journey's dam was imported from Denmark, out of strong European Field Trial lines. As their Field Trials are more of an upland-style competiton, it was no surprise that Journey was such a natural!

Journey has a slightly wavy light red coat that is easy to care for and very low maintenance. Journey is quite the character, and loves to give hugs! She is a sweet girl who fits in well with training, competing, or hunting, or just hanging around the house.

Her offspring have continued to show their talent in many venues, earning her the Outstanding Dam (OD) designation by the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA). Her offspring have titled in Field, Agility, and Obedience. They can do it all!
